Social Justice

Due to Covid 19 we have not continued with the social outreach as we have done in previous years.  We hope to resume outreach in the future.  Here are some examples of what the students have done in the past.

Here, at AC, Humanitarians hold fundraisers throughout the year to benefit various charities in addition to raising the money needed to participate in the Urban Challenge immersion program at the Romero Center in Camden, NJ. This program offers students the opportunity to learn about Catholic social teaching and to work side by side with some of the poorest members of American society. Humanitarians also volunteer in the local community and participate in activities such as the ACS Relay for Life, work shifts at the Greater Boston Food Bank, serve meals at Rosie’s Place, and host clothing drives. Finally, Humanitarians maintain the school's recycling program by emptying recycling bins from classrooms and office spaces.
