Daily Update, 4/1/2020
Good morning AC-
Our daily opening prayer at AC: Loving God, as I begin this day, help me to live my life to the best of my ability. To be open to those who love me. To respond to those who need me. To forgive those who hurt me. To be especially kind to others with my words and actions. And to appreciate the world in which we live. Saint Agnes, Pray for us. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Today is F Day. Students will be working on Mods 5-6-7-1-2 today. We are asking students to be proactive about reaching out to teachers with any issues by 2pm so that they can respond to any concerns by 3pm.
As you know, Governor Baker extended the school closure until May 4. The MIAA has also voted that no spring sport may begin before May 4.
The regularly scheduled days off in April (Good Friday, Easter Monday, and April Vacation week) will remain days off. We believe everyone needs time to focus on the importance of Holy Week and Easter, even though that may look a little different this year, and that April Vacation week will be a nice break for everyone to just enjoy family time and a little fun.
Everyone should continue to practice social distancing and stay home as much as possible. In addition to the school building, all fields in the town of Arlington (including the AC Turf Field) are closed until further notice.

Announcements:
During this stressful time we know that many young-people and adults may wish to reach-out for pastoral care. The priests of St. Agnes Parish are available via phone (781-648-0220), email, or a number of video conference platforms, such as Google Chat and Zoom. Their contact info is available at CPARL.org. There are other resources and programs (including a program for HS students, Faith in an Anxious World that is Zooming on Mondays) that might be helpful to individuals and families on the site as well. Each day you are prayed for at the Facebook Live Mass broadcast from the Collaborative Parishes Office Chapel each day at 12pm.
The enrollment deadline is 4/17, fees already paid will be credited to the tuition balance. Please help us plan by completing this process as soon as possible.
Please continue to sign up for courses for next year by this coming Friday, April 3rd; this deadline is incredibly important. Please reach out to teachers and guidance counselors with any questions. Completed worksheets can be returned when we all come back to school.
