Greetings Everyone!
I want to thank all of you for completing the course selection process so quickly and easily! I also want to thank Mr. Naughton, our Vice Principal of Academics, for his tireless work constructing student schedules. This is a complex system, and he does a terrific job.
Your child’s schedule will be coming in the US Mail very soon. As you look at your child’s schedule, please keep in mind that Math and Foreign Language courses are based upon both student request and placement testing. If you have questions about your child’s placement, please contact Mr. Hyland for Math (jhyland@achs.net) and Ms. DeLaria for Foreign Language (ndelaria@achs.net). I thank both of our department chairs for their help in designing, correcting, and placing those students who took the online placement tests. Right now we are doing absolutely everything in our power to be back safely in our building in the fall. Please click here to read our letter to our community about reopening.
At Arlington Catholic, we pride ourselves on students and families playing a big role in the course selection process. Sometimes, though, schedule changes are requested once we begin school. We normally allow a week for students to make schedule adjustments, and we plan on continuing with that plan in September. If that time frame needs to be amended when we reopen, please be assured we will always do our best to ensure that each student has the schedule that best suits them academically - a balanced, challenging schedule.

We will also talk about what students need to do beyond the reading for each book. We think you will find the summer reading assignments enjoyable and thought-provoking. Our faculty and staff are also all participating in summer reading and will be reading a couple of books just like you!
