Greetings Everyone!
We hope you’ve been able to enjoy some summer activities, and are beginning to ramp up for the reopening of our school slated for September 14!
As we indicated in our Reopening Plan, we are still waiting for final directions from the state and from DESE on what the actual reopening will be- fully in-person, hybrid, or fully remote-but whatever decisions are made, please know and trust that every effort is being made this summer to ensure a safe, smooth transition back to school for all our students, especially those of you who are new freshman and new members of our upper classes.
While many things are still unknown to us, I do want to remind you of a few key items we have touched upon in previous newsletters and Loom videos, like:
- Doing your summer reading and assignments
- Making sure you have your device ready, and your books ordered
- Ordering your TI-84 graphing calculator
- School uniforms ordered
- Notifying your former school that you are officially attending ACHS, and asking them to send your official academic records to ACHS
- Sending to us your medical records, including your most recent physical exam (remember this is a requirement for ALL incoming freshman!)
