    Good morning, SAS families!

    Here is today's Morning Prayer.

Attached is a recap of last week's NJHS Spirit Week; thanks to all who participated, and to our NJHS students for bringing some cheer!

Attached is also a flyer regarding a virtual summer program being offered by two of our teachers for rising K2-Grade 3 students.  Please check it out!

It's hard to believe, but we are nearing the end of the school year.  Although the past few months have certainly stretched us all, I am so grateful to everyone who has done their part to keep our students safe, healthy, and learning!  Parents, you have outdone yourselves.  Working (either at home or as an essential worker) while caring for your child and teaching your child at home I know has not been easy.  Teachers, you have planned, taught, and graded from home with new technology as you also care for your families at home.  Students, your whole world has been turned upside-down and yet you have continued to work hard and tried your best.  I am so proud of you all!

As a reminder, next Friday, June 5 is the last day of the 4th Quarter.  Classes will officially end on Thursday, June 4.  However, there will still be Zoom sessions, etc. the week of June 8 to give students opportunities to reflect on the year and celebrate their accomplishments!  Additionally, each class will Zoom that week with the teacher they will have next year.  Newly enrolled students will also be invited to those Zooms.  We hope this will be a nice way to get students excited about next year and start to build classroom communities!  Stay tuned for that information.

On Monday, June 8 at 12pm, all families and staff are invited to livestream a final school Mass at www.cparl.org.  Please join us as we pray for all that has been, and all that will be!

On Tuesday, June 9 at 6pm, you have the opportunity to Zoom with our pastor, Father Marc Bishop.  Please pre-register for this event here.

On Thursday, June 11, all Grade 1-7 families are invited to come "drive thru" the school parking lot to pick up their child's personal belongings, which teachers have bagged and labeled.  This is also an opportunity for your child to wave to their teacher "from a distance" and you can also drop off textbooks as well as used uniforms that no longer fit your child.  You are asked to come during the window that matches your last name:

    8:00-8:30am: Alonge-Czech

    8:30-9:00am: Daniell-Greene

    9:00-9:30am: Hackley-McClain

    9:30-10:00am: McGeoghean-Nonni

    10:00-10:30am: O'Leary-Sousa

    10:30-11:00am: Sullivan-Zuccaro

If you are unable to come at your scheduled time, please contact Mrs. Oglesby to arrange for a separate, safe pickup/dropoff.  Please note that 8th Grade, K0, K1, and K2 are not included in this because they will have already received their items.  If you need to drop something off for one of these grades, please contact Mrs. Oglesby to make arrangements.  Thank you.

Today's fun activity suggestion is: Write a secret message in invisible ink.  Find a recipe to make invisible ink with lemon juice here.

    Shout-outs to

7th Grade as they learn about theoretical probability!

5th Grade as they learn about the systems of the body!

2nd Grade as they learn about measurement!

Today is a WIN day!  Please take advantage to catch up on any missing work, as the end of the 4th Quarter is only a week away!

    United in Prayer,

    Mrs. Oglesby
