Curriculum - Early Learning Center 

 

The Early Learning Center will foster individual growth and development in each child. With care from faith filled teachers, your child will experience learning with calmness, patience, and joy. The hearts of infants and toddlers are nurtured with Christian values throughout the daily routine. 

The curriculum for infants includes music with songs and prayer, spoken language, facial expressions, gestures and signing, reading of stories & visual learning, motor skills of tummy time and fine motor activities, sensory play, body care of feeding, diaper changes, & rest, socialization, and relationship development.

The curriculum for toddlers includes group circle activities, self-care skills with practice of hand-washing and self-feeding, language and literacy experience. music with singing, movement, and instruments, art exploration, exposure to God's natural world of nature, plants, and animals, relationship skills with back and forth communication & eye contact, social skills based on Christian values, play & learn with blocks, puzzles, manipulatives, and dramatic play, as well as outdoor play and exploration walks in a buggie (weather permitting), and peaceful rest.

Our curriculum includes objectives developed in the areas of Social–Emotional Development, Physical Development, Language & Communication, Cognitive, Literacy, Mathematics, Science and Technology, Social Studies & the Arts & English Language Acquisition.
