The Drama Clubs produces 5 performances each year between the upper and lower school
Daily Update, 4/3/2020
Good morning AC-
Our daily opening prayer at AC: Loving God, as I begin this day, help me to live my life to the best of my ability. To be open to those who love me. To respond to those who need me. To forgive those who hurt me. To be especially kind to others with my words and actions. And to appreciate the world in which we live. Saint Agnes, Pray for us. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Today will be our weekly WIN day. Students may work on assignments, but no new work will be assigned. Parents and students should be consistent in checking email and the online gradebook for notifications about missing assignments. Teachers may be willing to extend deadlines, but communication from students is essential about work that may be missing or late. Students who are non-responsive will likely find these opportunities reduced.
Everyone should continue to practice social distancing and stay home as much as possible. In addition to the school building, all fields in the town of Arlington (including the AC Turf Field) are closed until further notice; there should be no gatherings of any kind on the fields.
Today is the deadline to choose courses for next year. Instructions and the Program of Studies are available in the Family Portal. Please take time today to review or make selections. We will begin the scheduling process next week and students missing selections will not be scheduled, this will reduce options as priority will be given to those who met the deadline.

Announcements:
During this stressful time we know that many young-people and adults may wish to reach-out for pastoral care. The priests of St. Agnes Parish are available via phone (781-648-0220), email, or a number of video conference platforms, such as Google Chat and Zoom. Their contact info is available at CPARL.org. There are other resources and programs (including a program for HS students, Faith in an Anxious World that is Zooming on Mondays) that might be helpful to individuals and families on the site as well. Each day you are prayed for at the Facebook Live Mass broadcast from Saint Agnes Church each day at 12pm.
Next week is Holy Week. Please visit www.cparl.org for details and resources. A schedule will be emailed next week.
The enrollment deadline is 4/17, fees already paid will be credited to the tuition balance. Please help us plan by completing this process as soon as possible.
April is National Poetry Month! The English Department is sponsoring a Poetry Poster Design Contest. Grab your favorite line of verse and bring it to life! We are hearing reports of families and alums who are dealing with this virus in their own homes. Please keep us updated so that we can support the students academically and pray for you/them.
Lord, You invite all who are burdened to come to you. Allow Your healing Hand to heal all afflicted with the virus at this time. Touch our souls with Your compassion for others; touch our hearts with Your courage and infinite Love for all; touch our minds with Your Wisdom, and may our mouths always proclaim Your praise. Teach me to reach out to You in all my needs, and help me to lead others to You by my example.
Most loving Heart of Jesus, bring us health in body and spirit that we may serve You with all our strength. Touch gently the lives which you have created, now and forever.
Amen.
Blessings,
The Arlington Catholic Administrative Team
