    Daily Update, Thursday 4/30/2020

    Good morning AC-

Our daily opening prayer at AC: Loving God, as I begin this day, help me to live my life to the best of my ability. To be open to those who love me. To respond to those who need me. To forgive those who hurt me. To be especially kind to others with my words and actions. And to appreciate the world in which we live. Saint Agnes, Pray for us. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Today is D Day. Students should complete work for Mods 2-3-4-5-6.

While not required, students are highly encouraged to attend the virtual meetings of your classes. Each class will hold at least one session per week, only something serious should keep students from attendance. Student class ‘attendance’ will count towards the 45 minute requirement, students who do not attend the live session may have additional work to make up the time.

Everyone should continue to practice social distancing and stay home as much as possible. In addition to the school building, all fields in the town of Arlington (including the AC Turf Field) are closed until further notice; there should be no gatherings of any kind on the fields.

We are pleased to announce that Ms. Jayne Franchini of our Theology Department has been named a recipient of the Archdiocesan Excellence in Education Award. Ms. Franchini was surprised with this news in a special Zoom meeting Tuesday. In addition to teaching, Ms. Franchini directs our choir and runs the WALK program. Congratulations!
