    Good morning, SAS families!

    Here is today's Morning Prayer.

Don't forget, we have a parent Zoom today at 8am!  Please join us if you can!  Father Mike will be leading us and it is a nice opportunity to connect with other parents to be a support for one another during this time.  Bring your own coffee!  Here is the login information:

Time: Mar 27, 2020 08:00 AM Eastern Time (US and Canada)
    Join Zoom Meeting
    https://us04web.zoom.us/j/135327482
    Meeting ID: 135 327 482

Also, at 9am today, you can watch Father Mike celebrate Mass live at CatholicTV!  It will also be available for later viewing on the CatholicTV website.  We wish we could be there to celebrate with him!

Remember, today is a WIN (What I Need) day, so teachers will not be posting new assignments today.  Students can catch up on missing work (which should be a priority since it's the last day of the quarter), or if you are all caught up, you can do enrichment activities your teachers have offered, play outside, read a good book just for fun, or enjoy some quality family time.

Today is the last day of our Virtual Spirit Week.  The theme is: SAS/AC Pride.  Send us a photo of your child wearing SAS or AC spirit wear!  Go blue and gold!

Attached are two images that we are trying to circulate on social media about our early childhood program expanding and the addition of an after school program for K0-Grade 3 next year.  We will share them on our FB, Instagram, and Twitter feeds this morning and would be most grateful if you could "share" them and add a line or two to personalize it with a brief testimonial if you feel so inspired!  Thank you for your help, especially at a time when EVERYONE is online all day

As you know, we have two moms-to-be on our faculty.  Mrs. McNeill, our 5th Grade teacher, has officially begun her maternity leave.  Desmond Aldo George McNeill was born yesterday at 5:57pm.  Congratulations, Mrs. McNeill!!!!   Welcome to the Saint Agnes family, little buddy!  Starting on Monday, Ms. Bridget Crane will be teaching 5th Grade.  Welcome, Ms. Crane!  Also starting on Monday, I will be taking over Mrs. Durazo's 8th Grade religion class.  Mrs. Durazo will continue to be available until she has her baby, but we thought it made sense to have a clean transition with the new quarter starting.  Please keep Mrs. McNeill and Mrs. Durazo in your prayers during this very exciting time!

Today's fun activity suggestion is: find a way to bring a smile to the faces of people who walk by your house or apartment.  Ideas include: making a decoration for your front door showing gratitude to all who are serving our community right now (doctors, nurses, police, firefighters, grocery store workers, postal workers, etc.), join the "chalk the walk" movement, put a bear in your window so kids can "go on a bear hunt" in your neighborhood.  The options are endless! :)

    Shout-outs to:

You wonderful parents for surviving Week 2 of this!

Everyone who worked hard this week!  Check out this video of all the great learning that happened!

    Have a wonderful weekend.

    United in Prayer,

    Mrs. Oglesby
