    Good morning, SAS families!

    Here is today's Morning Prayer.

Please pray for Father Mike's family as they mourn the loss of his cousin Marion, and for all who have lost loved ones to this virus.

Here is the Tuesday Tidbits for this week.

Today's fun activity suggestion is: Today is Superhero Day!  Choose a real-life superhero (police officer, firefighter, doctor, nurse, priest, etc.); make a thank you card and send it to them!

Thanks to the Cahill family for sending in a photo of their penny experiment from yesterday!

The Poem of the Day is: "Caterpillar" by Christina Rosetti

    Brown and furry
    Caterpillar in a hurry,
    Take your walk
To the shady leaf, or stalk,
    Or what not,
Which may be the chosen spot.
    No toad spy you,
    Hovering bird of prey pass by you;
    Spin and die,
    To live again a butterfly.

Special Opportunity: As you know, the month of May begins on Friday.  May is the month of Mary, and we honor our Blessed Mother by praying the rosary together.  In a special way this year, Pope Francis is encouraging us to pray the rosary at home.  We would like to create a virtual rosary to share, but need your help!  We need 53 Hail Marys, 6 Our Fathers, and 6 Glory Bes, for a total of 65 prayers.  We would LOVE to get 65 families to each record themselves praying one prayer together.  Please email me ASAP if you are willing to do this, so I can keep track of the numbers.  Once we receive all of the recordings, we will put them together in video format.  Father Mike Sheehan went to school and took photos and videos around the school for us to include as well.  Thank you in advance for your prompt reply to this request!

    Shout-outs to:

8th Grade as they tackle Shakespeare!

4th Grade as they work on their Quarantine Time Capsules!

K1 as they tackle the letters O and P!

    Have a great day, everyone!

    United in Prayer,

    Mrs. Oglesby
