    Good morning, SAS families!

    Here is today's Morning Prayer.

I hope you are all doing okay.  I have to say, I am incredibly proud to be a part of this amazing community.  It is a true testament to everyone's commitment to our children to see how parents and teachers are working together to ensure that our students have what they need and are able to continue learning.  Please keep the lines of communication open and let teachers know if your child is struggling.  We don't want to be additional stress during an already difficult time.  We know each family is in a different situation and although we are trying to manage this in a way that we hope works for everyone, it's important that you let us know if it's not working for your family so we can adjust.  Thank you!

In these uncertain times, we often feel so helpless.  If you are feeling the need to do something to help someone, one of our parents shared this website with me.

Today's fun activity suggestion: Make an obstacle course!  Here are several fun ideas, both indoors and outdoors, for all ages!

Shout outs today to: Mrs. Kay and Mrs. MacIntosh for their video read alouds, Ms. Slater for singing and playing guitar "5 Little Ducks" on video, and 5th Grade for making my laugh by sharing which songs they would choose as their personal theme songs to play every time they entered a room.  That was their question of the day yesterday.  Great things are happening, even from a distance!

    Miss you all!

    United in prayer,

    Mrs. Oglesby
