    Good morning, SAS families!

Here is today's Morning Prayer.  I am deeply saddened by the violence in our country this past week, starting with the horrific death of George Floyd through the protests across the country over the weekend that ended in violence.  Please join me in praying for an end to racism and for peace in our nation.  Our church leaders have made it clear that racist behavior is unacceptable and also that violence is not the answer.  Locally, Cardinal Sean also made a statement.  We must do better.

Here is Week 10 in Review, highlighting last week's learning!

Attached is a flyer regarding a virtual summer program being offered by two of our teachers for rising K2-Grade 3 students.  Please check it out!

Attached are the daily agendas for the week ahead; our last official week of remote learning!

On Monday, June 8, all families are invited to tune in to www.cparl.org at 12pm for a closing School Mass.

On Thursday, June 11, all Grade 1-7 families are invited to come "drive thru" the school parking lot to pick up their child's personal belongings, which teachers have bagged and labeled.  This is also an opportunity for your child to wave to their teacher "from a distance" and you can also drop off textbooks as well as used uniforms that no longer fit your child.  You are asked to come during the window that matches your last name:

    8:00-8:30am: Alonge-Czech

    8:30-9:00am: Daniell-Greene

    9:00-9:30am: Hackley-McClain

    9:30-10:00am: McGeoghean-Nonni

    10:00-10:30am: O'Leary-Sousa

    10:30-11:00am: Sullivan-Zuccaro

If you are unable to come at your scheduled time, please contact Mrs. Oglesby to arrange for a separate, safe pickup/dropoff.  Please note that 8th Grade, K0, K1, and K2 are not included in this because they will have already received their items.  If you need to drop something off for one of these grades, please contact Mrs. Oglesby to make arrangements.  Thank you.

Here is a fun resource for this summer - Camp Kinda - check it out!

Today's fun activity suggestion is: have a picnic in your backyard or on your living room floor!  Interested in learning more about where that picnic food comes from?  Take a virtual tour of a farm!

    Shout-outs to

AC student Stella Nielsen for continuing the Lab Rats Science Club during this time of remote learning!

3rd Grade as they learn about coordinating conjunctions!

K1 as they explore the letters Y and Z during their last week of classes!

    Have a great day!

    United in Prayer,

    Mrs. Oglesby
