    Greetings Everyone!

I hope you and your family have enjoyed the first few weeks of summer weather and enjoyed a safe and happy 4th of July!

Hopefully, you had a chance to read our email regarding reopening plans for September; please know that the situation remains fluid, but our Reopening Task Force continues to create multiple plans to ensure we are ready to provide the safest learning environment possible for all our students.

This week’s newsletter contains a great deal of important information that you will need the next few weeks to begin prepping for the reopening of school, and the start of your family’s high school journey at Arlington Catholic. I urge you to both read the newsletter and watch the Loom video in full as both contain important information and address some of our most frequently asked questions. Be sure to save this email so you will have quick access to all of this information as we approach September.

As important as these newsletters and videos are for new families, I cannot stress enough the importance of familiarizing yourself with our website!  The vast majority of questions we receive each summer can be answered via the website.  But, as always, when you are stuck simply reach out to me, or to the folks on the Contact List from our previous newsletter, for help with your questions.

This week’s video will highlight the following:

    • How to purchase books from MBS, our online book provider.  Information about purchasing your books can be found here. If you have questions, please contact Mrs. Seibel at kseibel@achs.net.
    • The TI-84 calculator-any version of the TI-84 or TI-84 Plus graphing calculator is required and can be used for all math and science courses offered at ACHS at all grade levels, so this is a one-time purchase.  Shop early online for this- they become difficult to find the closer to September you look!
    • School uniform needs from our official provider, JB Pride of Woburn. Information on dress code and how to order uniform items can be found here. If you have questions, please email Mr. Barrett
    • MBTA S Card (Student Value Card)- these can be signed up for when school reopens in September, and directions will be provided then.

We hope you enjoy the video, and as always, encourage you to reach out with any questions you may have.  Our summer office hours are now in effect; ACHS will have personnel working every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9am-1pm.  My direct phone line is (781) 777-7014 so feel free to leave a voicemail and I will get back to you as soon as possible!
